If you're coming for the cleanup, WE WILL STILL MEET AT ST. ROCH COMMUNITY CHURCH AT 10AM for donuts and coffee, and then we will bring supplies over to the park together.
We will be painting the building in the middle of the park. We will be painting over the mural that has been vandalized and plan to restore something beautiful and creative in its place. We also plan to make sure we include another memorial to honor Mr. Reggie Lawson for whom the mural is in memory.
There will also be a community event at the park with food and resources so we are excited to meet our neighbors and hang out.
Please wear clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting paint on.
Everyone will meet at the St Roch Community Church (1738 St Roch Ave) at 10am on Saturday to pick up supplies, and then proceed to designated areas.
